Keean Murrell-Snape is an author, filmmaker & podcaster
This is his web page, duh.
Keean Murrell-Snape grew up in the eighties and nineties before the internet ruined everything.
He started writing as a teenager after discovering the books of Christopher Pike, to whom he owes an eternal debt of gratitude.
Occult 24/7 is his debut novel (Coming Jan 2026), and he hopes you enjoy it so that he can return to the witch in the forest that raised him with good news.
His feature length doco Har’ Work: Rise of the Illawarra Hawks is in post-production and will release in 2026.
You can listen to Keean run his mouth about movies from the golden age of VHS on the Weird Kid Video Podcast available on all the podcast things.
Offline, he works a regular job making commercials and online video.

Occult 24/7
Halloween 1989.
Local weirdos Audrey, Billy and Courtney don’t want to save the world. They just want to spend another night hanging out on the curb of their local V-Mart, but Killian Vass, new CEO of Vass Enterprises and leader of a secret occult society hellbent on making a deal with a demon that will give them the power to shape the world, might ruin everything.
Occult 24/7, the debut novel from author Keean Murrell-Snape, is a darkly funny, twisted kitchen-sink horror/comedy/action novel for Gen X’ers, Xennials and Millennials who never grew up.
A blood (and other fluid) splattered love letter for readers who love Christopher Pike, Grady Hendrix, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Stranger Things and 80s movies, like The Monster Squad, The Lost Boys, The Goonies, The Gate, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Cloak & Dagger and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Har’ Work: Rise of the Illawarra Hawks
Since 1979, 24 clubs have played in Australia’s National Basketball League. Only 1 club has survived from the leagues inception until now.
The Illawarra Hawks.
Har’ Works is a feature length documentary about the history of the club from foundation to the club’s second NBL Championship in 2025.
Woven through all of this, just as important as what is happening on the court, are stories from the Illawarra community, from long term and generational fans, volunteers and the impact the club has had on so many lives.
Produced by Bottega Films.
Har Work is currently in post-production for a 2026 release.
